What sets Bijou apart is their ability to translate concepts into a tangible, user-friendly interface. Bijou's attention to detail and creativity were evident throughout the entire design process. She demonstrated a keen understanding of user experience principles, ensuring that the app prototype not only looked visually appealing but also provided an intuitive and seamless interaction for users. They were open to feedback and demonstrated a high level of adaptability in refining the prototype based on project requirements.
She consistently went above and beyond, taking my (often rather vague) specs and turned them into high quality production-ready designs. She's also very thoughtful about product issues - taking the time to understand the user journey and how people will actually interact with her work. I initially hired her for a more limited/smaller scale wire-framing project but was so impressed with her work that we ended up extending the project to include those other elements as well. Bijou's creativity and dedication would be an asset to any team.
Bijou had a profound impact on the user experience of the Journey app. Through intelligence, user-testing, iterations, and sheer grit, Bijou transformed Journey's profile section, created our 'events' feature from scratch, and crafted our creator acquisition landing page all in a short 4 months. I cannot thank Bijou enough for the passion she applied to her work. Bijou had a very positive impact on our culture and I really enjoyed working with her. Bijou is diligent, organized, and takes initiative.
Given some samples and a few firm requirements, Bijou created a Figma proof of concept wireframe that is now being fleshed out as the frontend of a real life SaaS application. She is flexible and agile, and did a great job creating a working layout that the development team could use as their starting point.
